Your plans stay under your control.

This policy explains how PlanFlow stores information locally, when technical update data is processed, and the choices you have over your content.

Effective August 1, 2026 PlanFlow 1.0.0 Android and iOS

About this policy

PlanFlow ("PlanFlow," "we," "us," or "our") provides a local-first mobile app for creating lists, tracking items and budgets, organizing categories and templates, archiving plans, and generating PDFs. This policy explains how the PlanFlow Android and iOS app handles information.

Information stored by PlanFlow

Your lists are stored in PlanFlow's private app storage on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your list content.

PlanFlow stores the content you enter—such as list titles, descriptions, items, quantities, optional units and prices, notes, categories, templates, completion state, archive state, and budget values—in the app's local SQLite database on your device. Theme, language, currency, sort order, completed-item visibility, and the last successful clear-data time are stored as local app preferences.

PlanFlow does not provide user accounts and does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, contact list, precise location, photos, payment details, or advertising identifier.

App updates and technical data processed by Expo

PlanFlow uses Expo Application Services Update (EAS Update) to check for and deliver signed app updates. When the app checks for an update, Expo may process technical request data such as your device operating system, the PlanFlow project ID, your IP address, and a random token used to determine whether an installation downloaded an update. PlanFlow list content is not included in these update requests.

Expo acts as the infrastructure provider for this processing. Its practices, retention, rights procedures, and international processing are described in the Expo Privacy Policy and Expo Privacy Explained.

How information is used

Local app content is used on your device to provide list creation, reading, editing and deletion, calculations, search, filters, archives, templates, localization, and PDF generation. Update request data is used to determine and deliver the compatible app update and to measure update adoption and performance.

PlanFlow does not use your list content for behavioral advertising, profiling, marketing, or analytics. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Sharing and disclosure

PlanFlow shares list content only when you explicitly generate a PDF and choose a destination through the operating system's share interface. The selected destination—such as a files app, messaging app, email provider, or cloud drive—then handles that copy under its own privacy terms. PlanFlow cannot delete or control copies you have shared outside the app.

Technical update-request data is disclosed to Expo as described above. We may also disclose information if required by applicable law, a valid legal process, or to protect users and the security of the service. Because PlanFlow does not operate a list-content server, we ordinarily do not possess your local list content to disclose.

Backups and file access

PlanFlow's JSON backup and restore feature is disabled in this release. Android operating-system backup is disabled. On iOS, PlanFlow does not enable Documents file sharing or open-in-place access for its app container. iOS may still include eligible app-container data in an encrypted device or iCloud backup according to Apple's platform settings and policies; PlanFlow does not claim to disable that platform function in this release.

If you previously exported a JSON backup using an older build, that external file remains under your control and the rules of the location where you saved it. Disabling the current feature does not delete external files.

Retention and deletion

Local content remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, use Settings → Clear local data, clear the app's storage through the operating system, or uninstall the app. Clear local data removes lists, items, templates, and custom categories; built-in categories and app preferences remain so the app can continue to operate. Uninstall behavior and encrypted device backups are controlled by the operating system.

Expo retains update-related technical data under its own privacy policy. We do not set an unrelated 24-month retention period for local list content.

Security

PlanFlow uses the operating system's app sandbox and local application storage to reduce unauthorized access. Android system backup and iOS Documents sharing are disabled as described above. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure, so protect your device with its available lock and encryption features and choose PDF share destinations carefully.

Children's privacy

PlanFlow is not directed to children under 13. It has no account or advertising feature and does not intentionally collect children's list content on a PlanFlow-operated server. A parent or guardian with a concern may contact us at the address below.

Your choices and rights

You can view, edit, export to PDF, or delete local content directly in the app. You can remove relational user content with Clear local data or remove the app through your device settings. Because local content is not held on our server, we normally cannot access, correct, export, or delete it remotely.

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning technical information processed by service providers. Contact us for PlanFlow questions and consult Expo's policy for requests concerning Expo-held update data.

International processing

Your local list content stays in the app container unless you share a PDF. Expo's update infrastructure may process technical request data in countries other than your own under the safeguards described in Expo's privacy policy.

External links and services

The app may open this policy in an external browser and may hand a generated PDF to a service you choose. External sites and apps have their own privacy practices, which PlanFlow does not control.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when PlanFlow's features, providers, or legal duties change. We will update the effective date and publish the current policy at the URL linked from Settings. Material changes should be communicated through the app or its store listing; we will not promise email notification while PlanFlow does not collect user email addresses.
